Reader Feedback: Blogging Topics
This week my goal is to find my blogging voice, you can help me do this by telling me what you like reading about.
After a quick brainstorming session I’ve decided to keep my main focus on Apple, Productivity, Blogging, and Photography. In that order.
What topics do you enjoy reading, what topics do you dislike reading, and what topics do you want to see covered more?

I read blogs mostly orientated around Apple and gaming, as well as other web related topics. So your above focus sounds great. :P

For topics that I like reading, I would have to say your productivity posts and when you talk about Apple/applications.
For topics that I dislike reading, I would say none since I just skip over them in RSS. Alright, to be honest there really isn’t much I dislike.
And lastly, I would love to see more application posts. You find some great applications that I have in turn started using, so keep it up.

I read blogs that focus around the stuff which you are planning on focusing on Glenn. That is really cool, since I am starting to really get into blogging it would be cool if you could talk about that. I also do enjoy reading about the applications even though I don’t own a mac. The photography thing sounds great. It all sounds great! Keep it up!

NickSounds pretty good to me, I especially like reading reviews of software you might come across. Like the other commenters, these are the types of blogs I subscribe to (actually more Apple, less photography, so your decision is right up my alley).
Good work, keep it up.

I vote for reviews (hardware, software, websites, whatever).

Kristiano → www,vainquer.net
I think you got the gist of your content right. I would like to hear more about your iLife though. :)
#8
zzap → zzaps.com
Productivity all the way!
#9
DwayI like all the software reviews you make, but I’d definitely like to see more about You and your photography.

Dumitru → www.static-13.deviantart.com
all of the ones you’ve mentioned, maybe more about productivity and photography ;)
#11
craigeth → craigeth.wordpress.com
id certainly like to see more about your photography and photography in general. lenses you prefer using, techniques you have come across, etc.
#12
Smaran → smarandayal.com
I’d definitely like to see some how-tos and Mac app reviews.
#13
Jehan → digital-substance.co.uk
I love reading about hardware that you reccommend. And more post your setups type posts.
#14
wph → wphj.wordpress.com
I like reading about Apple, Blogging, and Photography.
The Productivity ones can get a little boring.
I used to dislike the blogging posts, but now that I’ve started my own blog (linked in my name) they’re my favorite!

I like reading about Apple, Blogging, Apple Shareware reviews (ex. Cha-Ching, AppZapper, Wallet; those kinds of shareware) and Productivity. Maybe the continuation of Blogging 202!

herkamer → followingherkamer.wordpress.com
I agree with wph, I don’t care so much about Productivity, but I love the other stuff. Thanks for inspiring me to put my blog on wordpress!

Chris → vickslife.com
I agree with wph and herkamer- the productivity ones are boring. I really can’t stand any site that tries to tell me how I should do things- I have my own way. Other than that, I’d move photography up (because I’m starting to get into that).

Keep your focus on Apple and Reviews..
I like the “life”-posts as well. For Instance the “My typical morning” one.

I’ve been a big fan of your blogging articles. I think it’d be neat for you to talk about gaining traffic and building a community.
Your site has a great sense of community and it would be interesting to read how you developed it.

CharlieWhy don’t you write an article analysing the different email providers you have gone through and the advantages and disadvantages of each? Just an idea, although not a very good one :P
