Dropping A Few Notes
Just a few quick notes which don’t warrant a full post of their own, but I wanted to make a quick mention of.
I’ve sat down with a few other Mac fanatics and recorded the first episode of the MacFocus podcast. The team of Nick Danforth, Alex Killpatrick, Wesley Yendrys and myself produced the first podcast yesterday evening. Oh, and before you mention something - I’ve already told Wesley the show needs an iTunes feed before any further episodes are made.
Chanpory Rith from the popular blog LifeClever which focuses on helping you design, work, and live better, asked me to write a guest post a few weeks back. My article, 5 Simple Steps To Greater Productivity is now live on the site.
Last but not least, up-and-coming Mac blogger Shawn Blanc interviewed me on his personal weblog. The interview was conducted over dozens of emails and more than three days last week, and is now live for viewing on his blog. I was very pleased with how the interview evolved, very detailed and fun to be a part of.
On a final note, writing this post has left me considering integrating a link blog into the blog where I can post little rambling much like this on a daily basis. Kind of like the Daring Fireball Linked List. Any thoughts on this idea?

Glenn, a link area similar to that of Daring Fireball would be cool. :) It would be cool though if those updates were available somehow through RSS. Whether it be the current one or a new feed, that’d be nice.
Really loving MacFocus. If you start accepting guests or something, I’d enjoy visiting. The team is a very interesting but great combination.
Glenn, I’m glad to see you expanding outside of the blogging world. Blogging is definitely a strong point of yours but it’s fun to see you podcast and videocast nowadays too!

It’s not “upcoming,” it’s “up-and-coming.”
You would say upcoming if it hasn’t happened yet, like “the upcoming iPhone firmware update”
Up-and-coming means “making good progress and likely to become successful.”
So unless you mean that Shawn hasn’t been born yet, you might want to switch it.

I think the link area is a great idea. As long a there is an RSS feed. ;)

Richard: Thanks for pointing that out, edited!
Michael/Caitlyn: There would be RSS, I’m just not sure how I’d go about it. One complete feed, or 2 separate.

Aprilzero.com has a thing just like what you want. I myself was thinking about doing such a thing. Perhaps you should contact him.

Nice website Glenn, added you to my links. Keep up the great job.

A link list would be great. IT fascinates me to see what people view on their jaunts around the interweb. I’d suggest a combined feed and seperate feeds for the two types of post.

The link-blog is a great idea. I’ve been thinking about doing it, but I can’t decide if it should be done with a new WordPress install or if there is a simpler and easier way to do the same thing.
One of the most interesting iterations of this idea I’ve seen is Matthew Good’s “Lifestream” (http://www.matthewgood.org/ - second link from the left) which appears to compile del.icio.us links, Twitter updates, etc. I’m not sure how he does it, but it’s pretty elegant.

Glenn,
Link blog would be good - am I understanding you right that you want to have a secondary blog for you to actually publish on? Google reader pushes out link to items that you share which works very well - check mine out here - http://www.google.com/reader/shared/10824538770466625919
Cheers,

I have a regular blog that I write about a certain area and then I have a tumblr blog (or Tumblelog) that I use to post cool sites, pictures, and video.
I like the idea, go for it.
